Dr hab. Eng.arch. Magdalena Belof – professor ofWroclaw University of Technology in the Department of Urban Planning and Settlement Processes at the Faculty of Architecture and deputy director of science at the Institute for Territorial Development in Wrocław.For almost 20 years, she has been successfully combining research and teaching activities with practice in planning at the regional level.She participated in many projects related to spatial development and territorial management on a regional and international scale.Her research interests focus mainly on planning theories, issues of European territorial cooperation and spatial dimension in regional planning as well as participatory processes in planning.
Since 2015, she has been the vice-president of the Wrocław branch of the Association of Polish Town Planners and a member of the National Council of TUP. She is also a member of the Commission of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Polish Academy of Sciences branch in Wrocław.
