Director of Project PANDa, RETENCJAPL, Poland
He is one of the co-founders of www.retencja.pl web portal. Since 2016 he has been the director of the scientific project to prepare and implement Polish Atlas of Rainfall Intensity (PANDa).
A graduate of Faculty of Civil Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He completed a PhD in agricultural sciences specialising in environmental management in 2002 at the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering at Agricultural University of Wrocław. He received Doctor Habilitatus of Technical Sciences title in environmental engineering in 2010 at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Since 2012 he has been a full professor at Wrocław University of Science and Technology working at the Department of Waterworks and Sewerage.
He has been an advisor for 4 completed PhD dissertations and numerous master and engineering theses. He is the author of over 100 scientific publications. He is an expert on collecting and processing rainfall data and hydrodynamic modelling of sewerage networks. He cooperates with research facilities in the USA, Italy and Germany. He has been a member of the Panel of Experts of Municipal Water and Sewerage Company in Warsaw since 2012 and a member of Civil Engineering Committee of Polish Academy of Sciences in Section of Sanitary Engineering.
