A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. Winner of the Rector’s Award of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Minister of Infrastructure Award for his doctoral thesis “A river in the city center of a big city, an urban problem”.


As an architect, he co-authored projects for private, commercial and public spaces. As an urbanist and owner of the planning office, he co-authored several dozen local plans, commune studies and program and spatial concepts of various functional areas, including the development of the Vistula valley for the needs of a study of the conditions and directions of spatial development of the Capital City of Warsaw, or the revitalization of the Krzna river valley within the urban area of Biała Podlaska. As a research worker and academic teacher responsible for subjects related to theory and spatial planning, urban planning and rural planning. Member of the Team for City and Metropolitan Areas at the National Spatial Development Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.


President of the Association of Polish Town Planners. For 12 years, the judge-referent of nationwide competitions for master’s thesis in the field of urban design, planning and spatial management and the competition for the best public space, organized jointly with the Association of Polish Cities.


Chairman of the Polish Delegation to the International Association of Urban Planners and Regional Planners- ISOCARP. Expert in an international advisory team for the development strategy of the new part of the city for 5 million inhabitants along the Yangtze River in the perspective of 2049 and the development plan for 2030 in Nanjing in China. Lecturer in the training program for the planning staff in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, international workshops for young planners in Shenzen in China and international workshops at the Central School of Architects in Yekaterinburg in Russia.


Expert of the voivode consortium in the Flood Safety Program of the Vistula Central Valley. Co-organizer and referee of the international, urban and architectural competition for Bulwary Wiślane in Warsaw in 2008.
